A welcoming and professional family based in Hutton, Shenfield – Essex are looking for a loving, positive and super organised Nanny to look after their daughter aged 5.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy family with a varied role. The family want a long term partnership with someone who will be part of their family who is happy to manage the home in their absence. The family have additional weekly help for the cleaning duties. This is a full time permanent position. This wouldn’t suit a NWOC.

The successful nanny will need to have the following skills:

• Have exceptional organisational skills
• Competent and strong communicator
• Be a driver with a clean driving license (nanny to use own car)
• Hold a current first aid certificate
• Able to assist with school work
• Minimum of 3 years childcare experience
• Great references
• Hold a childcare qualification
• Clean DBS and on the update system (or willing to be)

Your duties will be:

• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals from fresh ingredients
• Take the little girl to and from school and after school activities
• Assist with reading and all aspects of homework
• Supporting development milestones
• Organising fun activities and days out in the school holidays
• Manage and take delivery of the weekly food shop
• Organise playdates, parties and small gatherings
• Keep communal areas clean and tidy including the recycling
• 2 nights per month babysitting (paid as overtime)
• Manage sub-contractors relating to the general maintenance of the house
• Running errands
• Usual nursery duties such as emptying the dishwasher, laundry, bedding, ironing and keeping the little girls bedroom and playroom tidy

Location:             Shenfield CM13 – Essex

Hours:                  Monday– Friday 7am-7pm or 7.30am to 7.30pm (to be agreed weekly)

Job type:             Full time permanent

 Salary:                  £13-£14 gross per hour (negotiable for the right nanny)

                                £3.4k – £3.6k gross per month
